Singer Bobby van Jaarsveld and his sister Karlien paid a special visit to burn victim Isabella 'Pippie' Kruger and her mother Anice in hospital on Thursday.

Three-year-old 'Pippie' is currently recovering following a successful skin transplant operation after she was severely burned.

She made headlines around the world after she was severely burned on New Year’s Eve 2012 when a bottle of gel firelighter exploded while her father was lighting a fire.

At the time, little 'Pippie' was given a 10% chance of survival by doctors, but Pippie has made a miraculous recovery.
